The Bergara B-14 Ridge Wilderness .300 PRC rifle is built for hunters who refuse to compromise on performance or durability when pursuing game in unforgiving backcountry terrain. This rifle bridges the gap between practical ruggedness and field-proven accuracy, combining Bergara's renowned barrel engineering with weather-resistant features designed to handle extreme conditions. The 24" barrel and compact overall length make it maneuverable in tight cover, while the .300 PRC chambering delivers the power and ballistics modern long-range hunters demand.

The Ridge Wilderness starts with Bergara's two-lug B-14 action—a smooth, reliable platform featuring a sliding plate extractor and coned bolt nose and breech for reliable feeding and extraction. The hand-painted woodland camo stock pairs a comfortable American-style synthetic design with a tactile SoftTouch finish for assured grip in wet conditions. The barrel sports a Sniper Grey Cerakote finish that resists corrosion and wear, while the integral omnidirectional, multi-ported muzzle brake reduces felt recoil by up to 35 percent—a genuine asset when carrying and firing a magnum in the field. Factory drilled and tapped for Remington 700–pattern bases, the rifle arrives ready to mount your optics.

The Bergara Performance Trigger provides a crisp, predictable break without fussiness. A hinged floor plate simplifies ammunition management and cleaning. At 7.4 to 7.9 pounds, the rifle won't exhaust you on a long stalk, and the .300 PRC's 2-round magazine capacity reflects the power and trajectory of a true magnum cartridge. This is a no-compromise rifle for serious hunters who want the accuracy and durability to close the distance when it matters.

Frequently Asked Questions

What scope mounting system does the B-14 Ridge Wilderness use?

The rifle is factory drilled and tapped for Remington 700–pattern bases and rings, using standard 6-48 screws. This makes it compatible with a wide range of affordable, proven mounting solutions available at any optics retailer.

Can I suppress this rifle or install a different muzzle device?

Yes. The muzzle is threaded 5/8-24, which is the standard suppressor thread pitch. The included omnidirectional muzzle brake can be replaced with a suppressor, muzzle brake, or flash hider of your choice.

How much does the B-14 Ridge Wilderness weigh?

The rifle weighs between 7.4 and 7.9 pounds, making it light enough for extended backcountry hunts without feeling sluggish in the field.

Is the camo finish functional for hunting?

The hand-painted woodland camo stock is designed to blend into natural terrain. Combined with the Sniper Grey Cerakote barrel and action finish, the rifle presents a cohesive appearance that works well in mixed brush and timber environments.
