Bergara B-14 22LR Left-Handed 18" Carbon Barrel Rifle Action
- Caliber-Gauge:
- 22 Long Rifle
The Bergara B-14 22LR left-handed rifle is a full-size precision trainer built for shooters serious about accuracy—whether you're getting started in competitive smallbore or refining your skills on the NRL22 circuit. Bergara engineered this bolt-action rifle around what competitive shooters and enthusiasts had been asking for: a production-grade .22 LR platform that delivers genuine precision without the premium price tag of centerfire competition rigs. The 18-inch carbon barrel keeps weight manageable while maintaining the ballistic performance you need for 100+ yard smallbore matches.
Left-handed ergonomics mean your controls are where they belong—charging handle, safety, and mag release all positioned for your natural shooting stance. The detachable 10-round AICS magazine gives you fast reloads and compatibility with standard competition gear. A 1:16 twist rate is optimized for typical .22 LR ammunition, keeping bullets stable across the velocity ranges you'll encounter with standard or high-velocity loads.
Whether you're training for PRS .22 matches, running drills at the range, or coaching the next generation of shooters, the B-14 22LR delivers the kind of out-of-the-box accuracy that lets you focus on your fundamentals instead of fighting the gun. It's the rifle Bergara's own team developed over years of field input from competitors and enthusiasts—proof that a .22 precision rifle doesn't have to be a compromise.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Bergara B-14 22LR left-handed compatible with right-handed magazines and holsters?
The rifle uses a 10-round AICS-pattern detachable magazine, which is a standard format used across many precision rifle platforms. Confirm your accessories are AICS-compatible; the left-handed action itself is specific to this rifle.
What's the barrel length and what does it mean for my shooting?
The 18-inch carbon barrel balances velocity and handling. An 18-inch barrel keeps the rifle compact and lightweight compared to longer precision rigs, while the 1:16 twist is optimized for typical .22 LR loads across the velocity spectrum.
Is this rifle suitable for competitive smallbore matches like NRL22?
Yes. The B-14 22LR was designed as a precision trainer and competition rifle specifically with input from NRL22 and PRS .22 competitors. It delivers production-grade accuracy suitable for competitive shooting and training.
What ammunition does the 1:16 twist rate work best with?
The 1:16 twist is optimized for standard and high-velocity .22 LR ammunition. It will stabilize typical bullets used in smallbore matches and training.
