The Battenfeld Technologies LKD GoldenRod 36-Inch Dehumidifier is a permanent, maintenance-free moisture control solution for gun safes, lockers, and storage cabinets. Unlike passive silica-gel products that require regular drying cycles, the GoldenRod uses sealed electric heating to actively drive rust-causing humidity out of your storage space—keeping your firearms and other valuables protected from corrosion and mildew year-round.

This 36-inch model is the longest length available for horizontal mounting and works by gently warming the air inside your safe to just below 150°F surface temperature. That heated air naturally expands and circulates throughout the enclosure, pushing out moisture while maintaining a continuously dry environment. The passive design means there's no timer to set, no cartridges to replace, no baking-and-drying cycles—just plug it in and forget it. The GoldenRod cannot overdry an area, so you don't risk damage to wood stocks, leather slings, or other materials stored alongside your guns.
