The Arsenal Sam7Uf is a 7.62×39 under-folder rifle built on decades of AK platform refinement and Bulgarian manufacturing expertise. If you're looking for a modern, compact AK-pattern rifle that handles like a precision instrument while maintaining the reliability the platform is known for, the Sam7Uf delivers a substantial step up from entry-level imports. The 16.3" cold hammer-forged barrel and reinforced straight-back under-folding stock give you a genuinely controllable platform whether you're running drills at the range, training for home defense, or maintaining proficiency with a classic intermediate cartridge.
What sets the Sam7Uf apart is attention to the details that actually matter in a fighting rifle. FIME's enhanced fire control group eliminates the vague, sloppy trigger feel that plagues standard AKs—you get a shortened trigger travel and a genuinely smooth pull without the heavy, unpredictable creep. The disconnector design prevents lever misfires and eliminates trigger slap, which means faster, more confident follow-up shots. The reinforced under-folding stock locks on both sides of the receiver with solid pins, giving you a rock-solid platform whether extended or folded. That stability translates directly to reduced muzzle climb and much firmer control—a major upgrade over traditional tilt-down stocks.
Arsenal built this rifle to last. The receiver, bolt, and bolt carrier are new-production, hot-die hammer-forged components; the barrel is cold hammer-forged using Steyr manufacturing technology and hard-chrome plated for extended service life. The removable muzzle nut uses standard 14×1mm left-hand threads for easy maintenance and accessory mounting. This is 100% new-production American-compliant AK that doesn't cut corners on the parts that determine reliability and longevity.
The 10-round capacity respects current federal compliance requirements. The Sam7Uf accepts any standard mil-spec magazine, so you're not locked into proprietary gear—a genuine advantage when building a rifle you'll actually train with and trust.

Frequently Asked Questions
What magazines does the Arsenal Sam7Uf accept?
The Sam7Uf accepts any standard mil-spec AK magazine. You're not limited to proprietary or hard-to-find options—standard 7.62×39 magazines from established manufacturers will work reliably.
How does the under-folding stock compare to other AK-pattern rifles?
The Sam7Uf uses a reinforced straight-back under-folding stock that locks perpendicular to the receiver and bore on both sides with solid pins. This design is a major improvement over traditional tilt-down stocks, providing a more secure lock in both folded and extended positions, which significantly reduces muzzle climb and gives you much firmer control for improved accuracy.
What makes the trigger pull better than standard AK rifles?
The FIME Enhanced Fire Control Group features a single-hook trigger with a hammer disconnector design that delivers shortened trigger travel and an extremely smooth, light pull. The disconnector is engineered to make full contact with the hammer and includes an elongated tail that stops on the rear trigger guard rivet, while the hammer stop prevents slamming on the trigger. This design eliminates the trigger slap common in competing AK-pattern rifles.
Is the Arsenal Sam7Uf built to last?
Yes. The receiver, bolt, and bolt carrier are all new-production, hot-die hammer-forged components made in Bulgaria. The 16.3" barrel is cold hammer-forged using Steyr manufacturing technology and hard-chrome plated for the bore and chamber, substantially extending service life compared to standard assemblies.
