The ArmsCor Lion Principal SA 12ga semi-auto shotgun brings reliable, straightforward function to hunters and sport shooters who want a workhorse that won't drain the budget. Built by Rock Island Armory on proven short-recoil mechanics, this 28-inch-barrel semi-automatic handles both 2¾ and 3-inch shells without fussing, making it flexible enough for duck season, turkey season, clay courses, or home defense. The 4+1 capacity (4 in the magazine, 1 in the chamber) keeps you in the fight without turning into an artillery piece, and the polymer buttstock soaks up recoil while staying light and durable in the field.
What you get here is honest engineering: a gun designed to cycle, not impress. The 28-inch barrel strikes the classic balance between sight radius and handling in tight brush or from a blind. The mobile choke system means you can dial in your pattern for whatever you're chasing—tight for distance, open for close work—without buying a pile of barrels. Whether you're building a reliable shotgun battery or replacing one that's seen hard use, the Lion Principal shows that effective doesn't need to be complicated.
This is the kind of shotgun that makes sense on a truck rack or in a safe: not flashy, but built to do the job when the weather turns ugly and you need something you can trust. The black finish and polymer furniture shed maintenance hassles, and the straightforward controls mean no learning curve if you've ever shouldered a shotgun before.

Frequently Asked Questions
What ammunition does the Lion Principal accept?
This shotgun handles both 2¾-inch and 3-inch 12-gauge shells without any modifications or adjustments. Load to your preference depending on your use case and what your local range or hunting regs allow.
Is this shotgun good for hunting and sport shooting?
Yes. The 28-inch barrel and mobile choke system make it versatile for waterfowl, upland bird, turkey, clay targets, and other common shotgun pursuits. The semi-auto function reduces felt recoil over pumps and break-actions, which helps with accuracy and follow-up shots during longer days afield.
Can I change the choke?
The mobile choke system allows you to swap chokes to adjust your shot pattern tightness, so you can match your load and distance to your hunting situation or clay target course setup.
How much ammunition does it hold?
The magazine holds 4 rounds, with 1 additional round that can be chambered, for a total of 5 rounds on board.
