The Cimarron Firearms Comodel No.3 American 45Lc 8: a true piece of Wild West history. Designed by Major George W. Schofield as an improvement over the iconic Smith & Wesson No. 3 American model, this revolver gained fame for its top-break rapid ejection system.

Originally produced by S&W from 1875-1977, this revolver found its way into the hands of the U.S. Army, with nearly 8000 units ordered in the proprietary .45 Schofield cartridge. It saw action in the Geronimo campaign and was favored by the legendary buffalo soldiers of the 9th and 10th Cavalry.

Not only did the Schofield serve the military, but it also made its mark in the civilian world. Outlaws like the James-Younger gang, lawmen like U.S. Marshal Bill Tilghman, and even Custer's chief of scouts, Lonesome Charley Reynolds, relied on its power and reliability.

Cimarron Firearms now brings you the Model No. 3 Schofield 2nd Model, meticulously crafted to replicate the original. Choose from various barrel lengths and calibers, including the iconic .45 Colt and .38 Special. And don't forget, our .45 Colt chambered Schofields can also handle the .45 Schofield cartridge.

Whether you're a fan of the real Old West or the reel West depicted in films like Clint Eastwood's Unforgiven and Russell Crowe's 3:10 To Yuma, owning a Cimarron Schofield allows you to experience the true spirit of the frontier. Don't miss your chance to own a piece of history.
